Like all other plugins which we have created yet, we have also developed functionality in Courses - LMS Plugin which allow site owners to create as many categories as they want for Classrooms & Courses upto 2nd & 3rd level along with the 1st category as Parent Category.
So you can easily create categories upto 3rd level by following the below mentioned steps:
1. In Admin Panel, Go to “Categories & Profile Fields” section.
2. Here you will find two separate sections as “Course Categories” & “Classroom Categories” from where you can add categories for Classrooms & Courses respectively.
3. Go to “Classroom Categories” section where you have to add Slug URL, Title, Description, Profile Type to be associated with the category, Icon and Thumbnail & then click on “Add New Category” button.
4. You can also map Classroom Categories with the Profile Types, so that questions belonging to the mapped Profile Type will appear to users while creating / editing Classrooms when they choose the associated Category.
5. After creating categories for Classrooms, Go to “Courses Categories” section where you have to again add Slug, URL, Title, Description, Profile Type to be associated with the category, Icon and thumbnail for the Courses & then click on “Add New Category” button.
6. You can also map Courses Categories with the Profile Types, so that questions belonging to the mapped Profile Type will appear to users while creating / editing Courses when they choose the associated Category.
7. These categories will get appear to the Classroom / Course Owners at the time of creation or edit.
