A birthday is a day that comes once a year & everyone wants to have wishes from their friends & family on this special day. So for making your users & their friends birthday more special and exciting, we have created “Birthday Plugin” which shows to users the birthdays of their friends, and allows them to send birthday wishes. Admin can also configure Automatic Birthday Wish emails to wish users on their birthdays. These emails automatically send to the members on their birthday.
This plugin offers a birthday widget which let your users to view all their friends birthday on the current date. This widget will also contain all the upcoming birthdays at the birthday listing page including birthday calendar which help users to view birthdays in the previous, current & next years.

This tutorial will walk you through steps you need to follow to install the Birthday Plugin on your website.
** This tutorial assumes that you are already logged in to the Admin Panel.

In the Main menu, click on the tab Manage and select “Packages & Plugins”.

3. After the successful installation of plugin as in Step 2 above, go to “Plugins” dropdown in the Main menu and select “SES - Birthday Plugin”.
Activate the plugin from Global Settings section of this plugin. In this section, you can enable/disable the birthday plugin.
This page is used to configure the various settings related to the email which you want to send to your users on their birthdays. You can enable/disable the birthday emails to your site members, add subjects to email, can design the email body and can send the test mail to check the email view.
Layout Editor is the only place for our SES Products where you can place various widgets for your pages and configure those widgets according to your requirement as well.
This plugin contains three widgets, named as “Birthday Listing”, “Calendar”, “Today’s Birthday Tips” which is used to display the birthdays of your site members. These all widgets are already placed on the “Birthday Browse” Page. So, you can access the birthdays from that page.
